COUNCIL REGULATION ( EEC) No 845 / 77 of 25 April 1977 maintaining in force the arrangements for the authorization of imports into France and into the United Kingdom of certain knitted or crocheted under garments originating in the Republic of the Philippines or the Kingdom of Thai­ land

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN whereas the factors which justified the introduction COMMUNITIES , of the arrangements still exist and it is accordingly necessary for them to remain in force until 31 March Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European 1978 , Economic Community,

Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : 1439 /74 of 4 June 1974 on common rules for imports Article 1 ('), and in particular Article 13 thereof, After consultation within the Advisory Committee The arrangements for the authorization of imports established by Article 5 of the said Regulation , into France and into the United Kingdom of certain knitted or crocheted under garments originating in Having regard to the proposal from the Commission , the Republic of the Philippines or the Kingdom of Thailand laid down by Regulations ( EEC ) No 557/ 77 Whereas by Regulations (EEC) No 557/77 (2 ) and and ( EEC) No 558 / 77 , shall remain applicable until (EEC) No 558 / 77 (3 ) the Commission introduced 31 March 1978 . arrangements for the authorization of imports into France and into the United Kingdom of certain Article 2 knitted or crocheted under garments originating in the Repulic of the Philippines or the Kingdom of This Regulation shall enter into force on 29 April Thailand ; 1977 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
