COMMISSION REGULATION ( EEC) No 972/77 of 5 May 1977 fixing the import levies on white sugar and raw sugar

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN to the information at present available to the Commis­ COMMUNITIES, sion that the levies at present in force should be altered as shown in the Annex to this Regulation , Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 3330/74 of 19 December 1974 on the common organ­ ization of the market in sugar ('), as last amended by Article 1 Regulation (EEC) No 3138 /76 (2), and in particular The levies referred to in Article 15 ( 1 ) of Regulation Article 15 (7) thereof, (EEC) No 3330/74 are, in respect of white sugar and Whereas the import levies on white sugar and raw standard quality raw sugar, hereby fixed as shown in sugar were fixed by Regulation (EEC) No 1 564/76 (3), the Annex to this Regulation . as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 961 /77 (4); Article 2 Whereas it follows from applying the rules and other provisions contained in Regulation (EEC) No 1564/76 This Regulation shall enter into force on 6 May 1977.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .

(•) Applicable to raw sugar with a yield of 92 % ; if the yield is other than 92 % , the levy applicable is calculated in accordance with the provisions of Article 2 of Regulation ( EEC) No 837 /68 .
