COMMISSION REGULATION ( EEC) No 1223/ 77 of 8 June 1977 fixing the import levies on rice and broken rice

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN the Commission that the levies at present in force COMMUNITIES , should be altered as shown in the table annexed to this Regulation, Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 1418 /76 of 21 June 1976 on the common organiza­ Article 1 tion of the market in rice ('), and in particular Article 1 1 (2) thereof, The import levies to be charged on the products listed in Article 1 ( 1 ) (a) and (b) of Regulation (EEC) No Whereas the import levies on rice and broken rice 1418 /76 are hereby fixed as shown in the table were fixed by Regulation (EEC) No 2137/76 (2), as last annexed to this Regulation . amended by Regulation ( EEC) No 1 1 33/77 (3) ; Whereas it follows from applying the rules and other Article 2 provisions contained in Regulation ( EEC) No 2137/76 to the offer prices and today's quotations known to This Regulation shall enter into force on 9 June 1977.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
