COUNCIL REGULATION (EEC) No 1408/77 of 28 June 1977 on the conclusion of the Agreement extending the Interim Agreement between the European Economic Community and the Republic of Tunisia

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION :

Article 1 Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, and in particular The Agreement extending the Interim Agreement Article 113 thereof, between the European Economic Community and the Republic of Tunisia and the declaration annexed to that Agreement are hereby approved on behalf of the Community. Having regard to the recommendation from the Commission , The text of the Agreement is annexed to this Regulation.

Article 2 Whereas the Interim Agreement between the European Economic Community and the Republic ot The President of the Council is hereby authorized to Tunisia signed in Tunis on 25 April 1976 expires not designate the persons empowered to sign the later than 30 June 1977 ; Agreement for the purpose of binding the Community .

Whereas, pending the entry into force of the Article 3 Cooperation Agreement between the European Economic Community and the Republic of Tunisia This Regulation shall enter into force on the day signed in Tunis on the same day, it is necessary to following its publication in the Official Journal of the extend the Interim Agreement, European Communities .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
