COMMISSION REGULATION ( EEC) No 1558 / 77 of 12 July 1977 amending Regulation ( EEC) No 1533 / 77 introducing a countervailing charge on tomatoes originating in Bulgaria and Romania

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN on Romanian tomatoes must be abolished and the COMMUNITIES , countervailing charge on tomatoes originating in Bulgaria must be amended , Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Having regard to Council Regulation ( EEC) No 1035/ 72 of 18 May 1972 on the common organization Article 1 of the market in fruit and vegetables ( 1 ), as last amended by Regulation ( EEC) No 1 034/ 77 ( 2 ), and in Article 1 of Regulation ( EEC) No 1533/77 is replaced particular the second subparagraph of Article 27 (2) by the following : thereof, 'A countervailing charge of 13-24 units of account Whereas Regulation ( EEC) No 1 533 / 77 (3 ) introduced per 100 kg net is applied to tomatoes (subheading a countervailing charge on tomatoes originating in 07.01 M of the Common Customs Tariff) origi­ Bulgaria and Romania ; nating in Bulgaria .'

Whereas Regulation ( EEC) No 1035/ 72 laid down the Article 2 conditions under which a charge is introduced , amended or abolished ; whereas , if these conditions This Regulation shall enter into force on 13 July are taken into consideration , the countervailing charge 1977 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
