COUNCIL REGULATION (EEC) No 1617/77 of 18 July 1977 on the supply of skimmed-milk powder to the Catholic Relief Service as emer gency food aid for certain sections of the population of Chile pursuant to Regu lation (EEC) No 1299/76
THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN whereas the Catholic Relief Service has submitted a COMMUNITIES, request for emergency food aid in the form of skim med-milk powder for certain sections of the popula Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European tion of Chile ; whereas the needs of those persons Economic Community, warrant food aid from the Community, Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 1298/76 of 1 June 1976 laying down general rules for HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : the supply of skimmed-milk powder as food aid to certain developing countries and international organi Article 1 zations under the 1976 programme (!), as amended by 1 214 tonnes of the 3 630 tonnes of skimmed-milk Regulation (EEC) No 2017/76 (2), and in particular Article 7 thereof, powder provided for as a reserve by Regulation (EEC) No 1299/76 shall be allocated to the Catholic Relief Having regard to the proposal from the Commission, Service for certain sections of the population of Chile as emergency food aid. Whereas Council Regulation (EEC) No 1299/76 of 1 June 1976 on the supply of skimmed-milk powder as Article 2 food aid to certain developing countries and interna tional organizations under the 1976 programme (3) This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day provides for a reserve of 3 630 tonnes of skimmed following its publication in the Official Journal of milk powder ; the European Communities.
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
