COUNCIL REGULATION ( EEC) No 1639/77 of 18 July 1977 determining for the 1977/78 marketing year the threshold prices for husked rice and broken rice

Having regard to the proposal from the Commission, Article 2
Whereas Article 14 (2) of Regulation (EEC) No The threshold price for round grain husked rice shall 1418/76 provides that the threshold price for husked be 291-53 units of account per tonne. rice must be fixed in such a way that the selling price of imported husked rice on the Duisburg market Article 3 corresponds to the target price ; whereas this object is achieved by deducting from the target price the items The threshold price for broken rice shall be 191-70 referred to in paragraph 2 (a) thereof ; units of account per tonne.
Whereas Article 15 ( 1 ) of Regulation (EEC) No Article 4 1418/76 lays down that the threshold price for broken rice must be fixed between a lower and an upper limit This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day calculated in relation to the threshold price for maize ; following its publication in the Official Journal of whereas, so that imports of broken rice do not restrict the European Communities.
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
