COUNCIL REGULATION (EEC) No 1680/77 of 25 July 1977 maintaining in force the arrangements subjecting to authorization imports into the United Kingdom of certain knitted or crocheted articles originating in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN should therefore remain in force until 31 December COMMUNITIES, 1977, Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 1439/74 of 4 June 1974 on common rules for Article 1 imports ('), and in particular Article 13 thereof,

After consultation within the Advisory Committee The arrangements for the authorization of imports established by Article 5 of that Regulation, into the United Kingdom of certain knitted or crocheted articles originating in the Islamic Republic Having regard to the proposal from the Commission, of Pakistan, adopted by Regulation (EEC) No 1285/77, Whereas, by Regulation (EEC) No 1285/77 (2), the shall remain applicable until 31 December 1977. Commission introduced arrangements for the authori­ zation of imports into the United Kingdom of certain Article 2 knitted or crocheted articles originating in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan ; This Regulation shall enter into force on the day Whereas the factors which justified the introduction following its publication in the Official Journal of of these arrangements still exist and the arrangements the European Communities.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
