COUNCIL REGULATION ( EEC) No 1706/77 of 26 July 1977 amending Regulation (EEC) No 3035/76 opening , allocating and providing for the administration of a Community tariff quota for dried figs falling within subheading ex 08.03 B of the Common Customs Tariff, originating in Spain ( 1977), and Regulation (EEC) No 3036/76 opening, allocating and providing for the administration of a Community tariff quota for dried grapes falling within subheading 08.04 B I of the Common Customs Tariff, originating in Spain ( 1977)

The second instalment of 10 tonnes shall constitute the reserve .' Having regard to the proposal from the Commission,

Having regard to the opinion of the European Parlia­ Article 2 ment (! ),

Regulation ( EEC) No 3036/76 is hereby amended as Whereas Regulations ( EEC) No 3035/76 and (EEC) follows : No 3036/76 (2) lay down tariff arrangements for imports of dried figs and dried grapes falling within subheadings ex 08.03 B and 08.04 B I of the 1 . In Article 1 , the volume '1 700 tonnes for dried Common Customs Tariff, originating in Spain, only grapes falling within subheading 08.04 B I shall be increased to '1 800 tonnes'. in respect of the Member States of the Community as originally constituted ; whereas those arragements are applicable for 1977 ; whereas the import arrangements 2. Article 2 shall be replaced by the following : for the products in question should be aligned throughout the Community as from 1 July 1977 ; ' Article 2 whereas in consequence the said Regulations must be amended, 1 . A first instalment amounting to 1 440 tonnes of the Community tariff quota referred to in Article 1 shall be allocated among the Member States ; the respective shares, which subject to HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION Article 5 shall be valid until 31 December 1977, shall be as follows :

Germany 55 tonnes Article 1 Benelux 177 tonnes Denmark 5 tonnes Article 2 of Regulation (EEC) No 3035/76 shall be France 870 tonnes replaced by the following : Ireland 10 tonnes ' Article 2 Italy 258 tonnes United Kingdom 65 tonnes 1 . A first instalment amounting to 190 tonnes of the Community tariff quota referred to in 2 . The second instalment of 360 tonnes shall Article 1 shall be allocated among the Member constitute the reserve .'
