COMMISSION REGULATION ( EEC) No 2120/77 of 26 September 1977 fixing the quantity of young male bovine animals which may be imported on special terms in the fourth quarter of 1977

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation COMMUNITIES, are in accordance with the opinion of the Manage­ ment Committee for Beef and Veal ,, Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 805/68 of 27 June 1968 on the common organization of the market in beef and veal ('), as last amended by Article 1 Regulation (EEC) No 425/77 (2), and in particular Article 13 (4) (a) thereof, 1 . For the period 1 October to 31 December 1977, the maximum quantity referred to in Article 13 (4) (a) Whereas the Council has established under the new of Regulation (EEC) No 805/68 shall be 50 600 head import arrangements for young male bovine animals of young male bovine animals for fattening, of a live for fattening, an estimate of 150 000 head (J) for the weight of 300 kilograms or less, of which at least period 1 April to 31 December 1977 ; whereas under 45 540 head must be imported into and fattened in Article 13 (4) (a) of Regulation (EEC) No 805/68, the Italy. quantity which may be imported each quarter and the rate of suspension of the import levy on these animals 2.
