COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 2332/77 of 25 October 1977 fixing the export refunds on beef and veal for the period beginning 1 November 1977
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN of some other preparations and preserves of meat or COMMUNITIES, offals shown in the Annex under subheading 16.02 B III b) 1 aa) ;

Having regard to the opinion of the Monetary Committee, Whereas, in the case of some other cuts and preserves of meat or offals shown in the Annex under subheading 16.02 B III b) 1 bb), Community participa tion in international trade may be ensured by granting Whereas Article 18 of Regulation (EEC) No 805/68 a refund which takes account of the refund hitherto provides that the difference between prices on the granted to exporters ; world market and prices within the Community for the products listed in Article 1 of that Regulation may be covered by an export refund ;

Whereas if the refund system is to .operate normally, refunds should be calculated on the following basis : Whereas it follows from applying these rules and criteria to the foreseeable situation on the market in beef and veal that the refund should be fixed as indi cated below ; — in the case of currencies which are maintained in relation to each other, at any given moment, within a band of 2-25 % , a rate of exchange based on their effective parity ; Whereas the present market situation in the Commu nity and the selling possibilities, particularly in certain third countries, lead to granting export refunds for the — for other currencies an exchange rate based on the export of adult bovine animals with a live weight arithmetic mean of the spot market rates of each equal or superior to 300 kilograms, for the export of of these currencies recorded for a given period, in certain fresh or chilled meats shown in the Annex relation to the Community currencies referred to under subheading ex 02.01 A II a) and for the export, in the previous subparagraph ; to certain destinations, of certain frozen meats shown in the Annex under subheading ex 02.01 A II b) and

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : 805/68 is granted and the amount of that refund is fixed as shown in the Annex . Article 1 Article 2 The list of products on which the export refund This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 November referred to in Article 18 of Regulation (EEC) No 1977 .
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .

(') The products which contain a small quantity of visible pieces of meat are also excluded . NB .- Whereas Article 7 of Regulation ( EEC) No 885 / 68 provides that no export refunds shall be granted on products imported from third countries and re-exported to third countries .
