COMMISSION REGULATION ( EEC) No 2839/ 77 of 19 December 1977 extending the period of validity of Community surveillance over imports of certain phosphate fertilizers

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN pressure exercised by imports into the Community of i COMMUNITIES , certain phosphate fertilizers and the resultant threat of < injury to Community producers of like or directly i Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European competing products, continue to apply ; i Economic Community, Whereas it is necessary to prolong surveillance, Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 1439/74 of 4 June 1974 on common rules for imports ('), and in particular Article 7 thereof, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Consultations having been held within the committee Article 1 set up under Article 5 of the said Regulation , The period of validity of Regulation (EEC) No 440/77 Whereas, by Regulation (EEC) No 440/77 of 1 March is hereby extended to 31 December 1978 . 1977 (2), the Commission established Community surveillance over imports of certain phosphate ferti­ lizers ; Article 2 Whereas the reasons which originally led the Commis­ This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January sion to take such action , that is to say the considerable 1978 . It shall apply until 31 December 1978 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
