COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 2976/77 of 29 December 1977 fixing the import levies on rice and broken rice

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN the Commission that the levies at present in force COMMUNITIES, should be altered as shown in the table annexed to this Regulation , Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 1418/76 of 21 June 1976 on the common organiza­ Article 1 tion of the market in rice (*), as amended by Regula­ tion (EEC) No 1 1 58/77 (2), and in particular Article 1 1 The import levies to be charged on the products listed (2) thereof, in Article 1 ( 1 ) (a) and (b) of Regulation (EEC) No 1418 /76 are hereby fixed as shown in the table Whereas the import levies on rice and broken rice were fixed by Regulation (EEC) No 1953/77 (3), as last annexed to this Regulation . amended by Regulation (EEC) No 2920/77 (4) ; Article 2 Whereas it follows from applying the rules and other provisions contained in Regulation (EEC) No 1953/77 This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January to the offer prices and today's quotations known to 1978 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
