COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 973/78 of 12 May 1978 extending the period of validity of Regulation (EEC) No 503/78 amending Regu­ lation No 785/67/EEC on the buying-in of olive oil by intervention agencies

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation COMMUNITIES , are in accordance with the opinion of the Manage­ ment Committee for Oils and Fats, Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, Having regard to Council Regulation No 136/66/EEC HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : of 22 September 1966 on the establishment of a common organization of the market in oils and fats ('), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No Article 1 2560/77 (2), and in particular Article 1 1 (5) thereof, In Article 1 of Regulation (EEC) No 503/78 the date Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 503/78 of ' 15 May 1978 ' is hereby replaced by '30 June 1978'. 9 March 1978 amending Regulation No 785/67/ EEC on the buying-in of olive oil by intervention agen­ cies (3) expires on 15 May 1978 ; Article 2 Whereas the situation which led to the adoption of this Regulation still persists ; whereas the period of This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its validity of the Regulation should therefore be publication in the Official Journal of the European Communities. extended for a limited period ;

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
