COMMISSION REGULATION ( EEC) No 1137 /78 of 29 May 1978 amending Commission Regulation (EEC) No 942/78 on the delivery of various consignments of skimmed-milk powder as food aid

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation COMMUNITIES, are in accordance with the opinion of the Manage­ ment Committee for Milk and Milk Products, Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : 804/68 of 27 June 1968 on the common organization of the market in milk and milk products ('), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1038/78 (2 ), and in Article 1 particular Article 7 (5) thereof, Annex I to Regulation (EEC) No 942/78 , with regard Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 942/78 of to Lots L to V, shall be amended as follows : 2 May 1978 (3) provides for inter alia the delivery to the World Food Programme in favour of Cuba of (a) under point 9, the delivery period ' after 1 and 9 648 tonnes of skimmed-milk powder originating before 15 July 1978 ' shall be replacted by 'after 25 from British intervention stocks, for which the date of July and before 10 August 1978 '. expiry for the submission of tenders is 22 May 1978 ; (b) under point 13, the expiry of the time limit for whereas due to a delay in the United Kingdom the submission of tenders ' 22 May 1978' shall be receiving the Official Journal of the European replaced by the date ' 12 June 1978 '. Communities containing this Regulation , this time limit has proved inadequate to allow interested parties to take part in this tender ; whereas it is therefore Article 2 necessary to amend the dates for the expiry of the time limit for the submission of tenders and This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its consequently the delivery period for the quantity in publication in the Official Journal of the European question ; Communities.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
