COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 1244/78 of 9 June 1978 temporarily suspending intervention buying-in of certain qualities of meat in certain Member States

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : COMMUNITIES,

Article 1 Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, 1 . — Denmark : Stude 1 , Whereas in Belgium, Denmark, France and the Tyre P ; United Kingdom the market prices for certain quali­ ties are between 100 % and 102 % of the maximum — France : Bœufs U , R and O ; buying-in price ; whereas in Belgium , Denmark, France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and the United — Luxembourg : Bœufs, génisses, taureaux extra ; Kingdom those for other qualities are above 102 % at this price ; — Netherlands : Vaarzen , le kwaliteit ;

— United Kingdom : Whereas the same situation applies in Ireland for certain qualities ; whereas in view of the average level Great Britain : Steers M, at market prices in this Member State compared to Steers H , the guide price intervention buying-in should Heifers M/ H ; continue until the market situation improves ; Northern Ireland : Heifers T.

Whereas the measures provided for in Article 1 ( 1 ) of this Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of Article 2 the Management Committee for Beef and Veal,

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
