COMMISSION REGULATION ( EEC) No 1683/ 78 of 17 July 1978 re-establishing the levying of the customs duties on inner tubes and tyre cases of the kind used on bicycles, cycles with an auxiliary motor, motor-cycles or motorscooters, falling within heading No ex 40.11 originating in Yugoslavia, to which the preferential tariff arrangements set out in Council Regulation (EEC) No 2705 /77 apply

Whereas, having regard to that ceiling, the amounts CCT for products originating in any one of the countries or heading Description No territories listed in Annex B to that Regulation should be within a maximum Community amount repre senting 50 % of that ceiling, with the exception of ex 40.11 Rubber tyres, tyre cases, interchangeable certain products for which the maximum amount is to tyre treads, inner tubes and tyre flaps, for wheels of all kinds : be reduced to the percentage indicated in Annex A to that Regulation ; whereas, for these products, this — Inner tubes and tyre cases (new or reduced percentage will be 25 % ; used) of the kind used on bicycles, cycles with an auxiliary motor, motor cycles or motor-scooters Whereas Article 2 (2) and (3) of that Regulation provides that the levying of customs duties may be re-established at any time in respect of imports of the products in question originating in any of the said Article 2 countries or territories — with the exception of those listed in Annex C to the same Regulation — once the relevant Community amount has been reached ; This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day following its publication in the Official Journal of (1) OJ No L 324, 19. 12. 1977, p . 23 . the European Communities.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
