COUNCIL REGULATION (EEC) No 1925/78 of 25 July 1978

amending Regulation (EEC) No 2636/77 on the opening allocation and administration of a Community tariff quota for certain hand-made products

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, Whereas trade with Guatemala is foreseen in the prod­ ucts concerned and it is therefore necessary for practical reasons to supplement the aforementioned Regulation by adding an example ot the certificate to be issued by Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European the authorities in that country, Economic Community, and in particular Article 113 thereof,

Having regard to the proposal from the Commission, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Whereas, by Regulation (EEC) No 2636/77 (*), the Council opened and allocated between the Member States an annual duty-free Community tariff quota for hand-made products for 1978 of an overall maximum Article 1 amount of 10 million units of account with a limit of 1 200 000 units of account for each tariff heading or Annex XX given in the Annex to this Regulation shall subheading concerned ; whereas under the terms of be added to Regulation (EEC) No 2636/77. Article 1 (2) of the aforementioned Regulation, prod­ ucts may be admitted under the Community tariff quota only on the submission to the Community's cus­ Article 2 toms authorities of a certificate issued by the recognized authorities of the country of origin certifying that the This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 September goods concerned are hand-made; 1978 .
