COMMISSION REGULATION ( EEC) No 2164/78 of 14 September 1978 amending Regulation (EEC) No 1557/78 on the sale at a price fixed at a standard rate in advance of preserved beef held by the intervention agencies

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation COMMUNITIES , are in accordance with the opinion of the Manage­ ment Committee for Beef and Veal , Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community,

Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : 805/68 of 27 June 1968 on the common organization of the market in beef and veal ( J ), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 425/77 (2), and in particular Article 1 Article 7 (3) thereof,

Whereas Annex I of Commission Regulation (EEC) Annex I to Regulation (EEC) No 1557/78 is replaced No 1557/78 of 5 July 1978 on the sale at a price fixed by the Annex to this Regulation . / at a standard rate in advance of preserved beef held by the intervention agencies (3), lays down the sales prices for this preserved beef ; Article 2 Whereas it has been impossible to sell the quantities offered for sale at these prices ; whereas, therefore, it This Regulation shall enter into force on 18 seems necessary to reduce them ; September 1978 .
