correcting Regulation (EEC) No 1036/78 fixing the monetary compensatory amounts

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : COMMUNITIES,

Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Article 1 Economic Community,

Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No In Annex I, Part 2, to Regulation (EEC) No 1036/78, 974/71 of 12 May 1971 on certain measures of as amended with effect from 19 October 1978 by conjunctural policy to be taken in agriculture Regulation (EEC) No 2431 /78 , in the columns headed following the temporary widening of the margin of ' Deutschland', ' Belgique/Luxembourg' and ' Neder­ fluctuation for the currencies of certain Member land', the amounts under subheadings 02.06 B I b) 1 , States (J), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 2 aa), 2 bb), 2 cc), 3 aa), 4 aa), 5 aa), 6 aa) and 7 aa) are 557/76 (2), and in particular Article 3 thereof, hereby replaced by the amounts set out in the Annex Whereas the monetary compensatory amounts to this Regulation. provided for in Regulation (EEC) No 974/71 were fixed by Commission Regulation (EEC) No 1036/78 of 19 May 1978 (3), as amended with effect from 19 Article 2 October 1978 by Regulation (EEC) No 2431 /78 (4) ;

Whereas a check has revealed errors in the Annex to This Regulation shall enter into force on 20 October that Regulation ; whereas the Regulation in question 1978 . Where any party concerned so requests, it shall must therefore be corrected, be applied on 19 October 1978 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
