COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 2486/78 of 25 October 1978 terminating private storage aid for table wine of the type A II

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN subsidy for the A II type of table wine (3) provides for COMMUNITIES, the granting of such aid for such wine from 8 December 1977 ; Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, Whereas it has been established that the representa­ tive price for this type of wine during the past two Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No weeks has been higher than the activating price ; 816/70 of 28 April 1970 laying down additional provi­ sions for the common organization of the market in Whereas the conditions set out in the second indent wine ( J), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No of the first subparagraph of Article 5 (2) of Regulation 1861 /78 (2), and in particular Article 5 (7) thereof, (EEC) No 816/70 are therefore fulfilled , Whereas Article 5 ( 1 ) of the said Regulation intro­ duces a system of aid for the private storage of table wine and lays down that the granting of such aid is to HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : be subject to the conclusion of a short-term or a long­ term storage contract ; whereas the first subparagraph of paragraph 2 of the said Article lays down that short­ Article 1 term storage contracts may be entered into when the representative price of a type of table wine remains No short-term private storage contract may be entered below the activating price for two consecutive weeks into for table wine of the type A II. and that such contracts may no longer be entered into when the representative price of this type of wine is Article 2 above the activating price for two consecutive weeks ; Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 2698 /77 This Regulation shall enter into force on 26 October 1978 . of 7 December 1977 concerning the private storage

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
