COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 2545/78 of 30 October 1978 amending Regulation (EEC) No 1027/78 concerning the sale for export at prices fixed at a standard rate in advance of beef held by the intervention agencies

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : COMMUNITIES, Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, Article 1

Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 805/68 of 27 June 1968 on the common organization Article 3 ( 1 ) (b) of Regulation (EEC) No 1027/78 is amended as follows : of the market in beef and veal (1 ), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 425/77 (2), and in particular Article 7 (3) thereof, '(b) the purchase is subject to the export contract provided for under (a) and is of : Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 1027/78 of 19 May 1978 concerning the sale for export at — forequarters only, or prices fixed at a standard rate in advance of beef held by the intervention agencies (3), as last amended by — hindquarters only, or Regulation (EEC) No 2285/78 (4), provides that the — an equal tonnage of forequarters and hind time allowed for taking over and exporting the meat quarters, held by the intervention agen may be extended if the purchase is of hindquarters cies.' only or of an equal tonnage of forequarters and hind quarters held by the intervention agencies ; whereas this provision should be extended to purchases of fore quarters only ; Article 2
