COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 2621 /78 of 7 November 1978 amending Regulation (EEC) No 1251 /78 making the import of certain textile products from certain third countries subject to Community surveillance

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas, in these circumstances, for the purpose of COMMUNITIES, operating administrative procedures designed to provide rapid information on the trend of trade flows Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European as regards the above products, the twine, cordage, Economic Community, ropes and cables in question should be included Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No among the products listed in the Annex to Regulation 1439/74 of 4 June 1974 on common rules for (EEC) No 1251 /78 , imports (*), and in particular Article 7 thereof, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Having regard to Commission Regulation (EEC) No 1251 /78 of 12 June 1978 making the import of Article 1 certain textile products from certain third countries subject to Community surveillance (2), The list- of products annexed to Regulation (EEC) No Having consulted the Advisory Committee set up 1251 /78 shall be supplemented by the addition of the under Article 5 of Regulation (EEC) No 1439/74, list in the Annex to this Regulation .

Whereas the Community surveillance does not cover Article 2 imports of twine, cordage, ropes and cables, falling within tariff heading No 59.04 and originating in This Regulation shall enter into force on the day Portugal, the trend of which has been a source of following its publication in the Official Journal of much concern to Community producers in recent the European Communities. It shall apply until 31 years ; December 1978 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
