COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 2868/78 of 5 December 1978 concerning the second amendment to Regulation (EEC) No 1557/78 on the sale at a price fixed at a standard rate in advance of preserved beef held by the inter­ vention agencies

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation COMMUNITIES, are in accordance with the opinion of the Manage­ ment Committee for Beef and Veal, Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community,

Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : 805/68 of 27 June 1968 on the common organization of the market in beef and veal (*), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 425/77 (2), and in particular Article 1 Article 7 (3) thereof,

Whereas Annex I to Commission Regulation (EEC) Annex I to Regulation (EEC) No 1557/78 is replaced No 1 557/78 (3), as amended by Regulation (EEC) No by the Annex to this Regulation. 2192/78 (4), lays down inter alia the selling prices of preserved beef held by the Irish intervention agency and intended for export ; Article 2

Whereas it has been impossible to sell the quantities offered for sale at these prices ; whereas, therefore, it This Regulation shall enter into force on 6 December 1978 . seems necessary to reduce them ;

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
