COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 3098/78
of 28 December 1978 fixing the amounts by which import charges on beef and veal originating in the African , Caribbean and Pacific States are to be reduced
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : COMMUNITIES,
Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Article 1 Economic Community,
Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No The amounts by which import charges on beef and 3328/75 of 18 December 1975 renewing the arrange veal are to be reduced pursuant to Article 1 ( 1 ) of ments for the reduction of import charges on beef and Regulation (EEC) No 3328/75 shall, in respect of veal products originating in the African, Caribbean importations during the first quarter of 1979, be as and Pacific States (*), as last amended by Regulation shown in the Annex hereto . (EEC) No 2993/78 (2), and in particular Article 1 thereof,
Whereas Article 1 ( 1 ) of Regulation (EEC) No 3328/75 A rticle 2 provides for a 90 % reduction in the import charges on beef and veal ; whereas the amount of this reduc tion must be calculated in conformity with Article 4 This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 1979 . of Commission Regulation (EEC) No 3006/78 (3),
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
