COMMISSION REGULATION ( EEC) No 1054/79 of 28 May 1979 on the sale at prices fixed at a standard rate in advance of certain frozen beef from intervention stocks for processing in the Community

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN whereas to avoid all confusion it should be expressly COMMUNITIES, stated that the prices fixed by this Regulation are subject to adjustment in the case of those products ;

Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, Whereas the Management Committee for Beef and Veal has not delivered an opinion within the time limit set by its chairman , Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 805/68 of 27 June 1968 on the common organization of the market in beef and veal ('), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 425/77 (2), and in particular Article 7 (3) thereof,

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Whereas the application of intervention measures in respect of beef has created large stocks in certain Member States ; whereas, for technical reasons, it is necessary to sell those stocks ; Article 1

Whereas, in the present market situation, there are certain outlets for such meat in the Community 1 .
