COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 1236/79 of 22 June 1979 altering the import levies on frozen beef and veal

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas it follows from applying the detailed rules COMMUNITIES , contained in Regulation (EEC) No 3051 /78 to the quotations and other information known to the Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Commission , that the levies should be set out in the Economic Community, Annex hereto, Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 805/68 of 27 June 1968 on the common organization HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : of the market in beef and veal ( J ), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 425/77 (2), and in particular Article 1 Article 1 2 (8) thereof, The import levies on frozen beef and veal, as fixed in Whereas the import levies on frozen beef and veal the Annex to amended Regulation (EEC) No 3051 /78 , were fixed by Regulation (EEC) No 3051 /78 (3), as last are hereby altered to the amounts set out in the amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1 025/79 (4) ; Annex hereto . Whereas Council Regulation (EEC) No 652/79 of 29 Article 2 March 1979 (5 ) laid down the coefficient for expressing amounts, fixed in units of account, in This Regulation shall enter into force on 25 June ECU ; 1979 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .

(') In accordance with Regulation ( EEC ) No 706 / 76 , levies are not applied to imports into the French overseas departments of products originating in the African , Caribbean and Pacific States or in the overseas countries and territories . (a ) Where products are imported under the conditions set out in Article 14 of Council Regulation ( EEC) No 805/ 68 of 27 June 1968 and in provisions adopted for its application , the levy is totally or partially suspended in accordance with those provisions . (b) Entry under this subheading is subject to the production of a certificate issued on conditions laid down by the competent authori­ ties of the European Communities .
