COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 1425/79 of 10 July 1979 amending Regulation ( EEC) No 1370/79 introducing a countervailing charge on tomatoes originating in Bulgaria

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas Council Regulation (EEC) No 652/79 of 29 COMMUNITIES, March 1 979 (4) laid down the coefficient for expressing amounts, fixed in units of account, in Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European ECU ; Economic Community, Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No are in accordance with the opinion of the Manage­ 1035/72 of 18 May 1972 on the common organization ment Committee for Fruit and Vegetables, of the market in fruit and vegetables ( ! ), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1301 /79 (2), and in particular the first subparagraph of Article 27 (2) HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : thereof,

Whereas Regulation (EEC) No 1370/79 (3) introduced Article 1 a countervailing charge on tomatoes originating in Bulgaria ; The amount ' 15-58 ECU' appearing in Article 1 of Regulation (EEC) No 1370/79 is replaced by the Whereas Article 26 ( 1 ) of Regulation (EEC) No amount ' 38-56 ECU'. 1035/72 laid down the conditions under which a charge introduced in application of Article 25 of that Regulation is amended ; whereas, if these conditions Article 2 are taken into consideration , the countervailing charge on the import of tomatoes originating in Bulgaria This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 1 July must be amended ; 1979 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
