COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 1601 /79 of 26 July 1979 amending Regulation (EEC) No 918/79 opening a standing invitation to tender for the putting up for sale of olive oil held by the Italian intervention agency
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN 'Article 3 a COMMUNITIES, With respect to lampante virgin olive oil and olive Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European residue oil, when the oil awarded has a different Economic Community, degree of acidity from that for which the tender was made, the price to be paid shall be equal to Having regard to Council Regulation No 136/66/EEC the price tendered, increased or reduced in accor of 22 September 1966 on the establishment of a dance with the following scale : common organization of the market in oils and fats (1), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1 . lampante virgin olive oil 590/79 (2), and in particular Article 1 2 (4) thereof, — exceeding 1° but not exceeding 8° acidity : Whereas Article 3 of Regulation (EEC) No 918/79 (3) reduction or increase of Lit 1 154 for each provides that tenders shall be made for an oil of 5° degree of acidity below or above 5° , acidity with regard to lampante virgin olive oil and for an oil of 15° acidity with regard to olive residue oil ; — exceeding 8° and not exceeding 12° acidity : Whereas, in order to make a tender for a specific lot, it is desirable that operators have a knowledge of the reduction of Lit 1 615 for each degree of amount of the increases or reductions applied in acidity above 5° , respect of oils with a different degree of acidity than — exceeding 1 2° acidity : that for which tenders are made ; whereas the table of increases and reductions for the oils in question reduction of Lit 2 077 for each degree of should be set out ; acidity above 5° ; Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation 2. olive residue oil are in accordance with the opinion of the Manage ment Committee for Oils and Fats, Reduction or increase of Lit 2 077 for each degree of acidity below or above 15° .'
