COMMISSION REGULATION ( EEC) No 2015 / 79 of 12 September 1979 re-establishing intervention buying in of beef in the United Kingdom

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN ties ; whereas intervention buying in for these quali­ COMMUNITIES , ties must recommence , in accordance with Article 3 ( 2) of Regulation ( EEC) No 1274/79(6), Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Having regard to Council Regulation ( EEC) No 805/68 of 27 June 1968 on the common organization Article 1 of the market in beef and veal ('), as last amended by Regulation ( EEC) No 425/77 (2 ), and in particular Buying in by the United Kingdom intervention Article 6 (4) (b) thereof, agency shall recommence on 17 September 1979 for the following qualities : Whereas intervention buying in was suspended by — in Northern Ireland : Steers L/ H , Steers T and Commission Regulations ( EEC) No 145/79 (3), ( EEC) Heifers T. No 1 64/79 (4) and ( EEC) No 255/79 p ) ;

Whereas the market prices for Steers L/ H , Steers T Article 2 and Heifers T recorded in Northern Ireland on 30 August and 6 September 1979 had returned to a level This Regulation shall enter into force on 17 below the maximum buying in price for these quali­ September 1979 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
