COMMISSION REGULATION ( EEC) No 2834/79 of 14 December 1979 amending the moisture rate and the date of the award of the contract laid down in Regulations (EEC) No 2698/79 and (EEC) No 2699/79 for the mobilization of common wheat flour as food aid

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN submitted for the opinion to the management COMMUNITIES, committee ; whereas it is necessary, therefore , to correct the Regulation in question ; Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, Whereas the belated correction of the error also neces­ sitates amending the closing date for the submission Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No of tenders and for the award ; 2727/75 of 29 October 1975 on the common organiza­ tion of the market in cereals ( J), as last amended by Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation Regulation (EEC) No 1 547/79 (2), are in accordance with the opinion of the Manage­ ment Committee for Cereals, Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 2750/75 of 29 October 1975 laying down the condi­ tions for the mobilization of cereals as food aid (3), and in particular Article 6 thereof, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Having regard to Council Regulation No 129 of 23 October 1962 on the value of the unit of account and Article 1 the exchange rates to be applied for the purposes of the common agricultural policy (4), as last amended by Regulations (EEC) No 2698/79 and (EEC) No Regulation (EEC) No 2543/73 (5), in particular Article 2699/79 are hereby amended as follows : 3 thereof, — in Article 2 ( 1 ) and (2), the date ' 14 December Whereas Commission Regulations (EEC) No 1979' is replaced by '21 December 1979', 2698/79 (6), and (EEC) No 2699/79 (7) of 30 — in the first indent of Article 6 ( 1 ) and (2), the rate November 1979 opened an invitation to tender for ' 12% ' is replaced by ' 14% '. the mobilization of common wheat flour as food aid for respectively the Republic of the Jibuti and the Article 2 Democratic Republic of Madagascar ;

Whereas, as a result of an error in transcription, the This Regulation shall enter into force on 15 moisture rate does not correspond to the one December 1979 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
