COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 1501 /81 of 2 June 1981 temporarily suspending intervention buying-in of certain qualities of meat in certain Member States
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN and 1 02 % of the maximum buying-in price ; COMMUNITIES, whereas, therefore, intervention buying-in should be temporarily suspended for the qualities in question ; Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of the Manage Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No ment Committee for Beef and Veal, 805/68 of 27 June 1968 on the common organization of the market in beef and veal (1), as last amended by the Act of Accession of Greece, and in particular HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Article 6 (5) (b) thereof,
Whereas Article 3.(1 ) of Council Regulation (EEC) No Article 1 898/81 (2) provides the possibility of suspending, in accordance with the procedure provided for in Article In application of Article 3 ( 1 ) (a) of Regulation (EEC) 27 of Regulation (EEC) No 805/68, the buying-in by No 898/81 , intervention buying-in shall be suspended intervention agencies of one or more qualities of fresh from 8 June 1981 in the following Member States for or chilled meat in Member States or regions of the qualities specified : Member States when the market price of the quality or qualities in question remains, during a period of — in Luxembourg : Bœufs et taureaux extra, three consecutive weeks, between 100 and 102 % of — in Great Britain : Steers M and H. the maximum buying-in price fixed for that or those qualities ; Article 2 Whereas in Luxembourg and the United Kingdom the market price for certain qualities is between 100 This Regulation shall enter into force on 8 June 1981 .
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
