COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 437 /82 of 25 February 1982 determining the extent to which applications lodged during the month of February 1982 for the issue of import licences in respect of frozen beef intended for processing may be accepted
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation COMMUNITIES, are in accordance with the opinion of the Management Committee for Beef and Veal, Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 805/68 of 27 June 1968 on the common organization of the market in beef and veal ('), as last amended by the Article 1 Act of Accession of Greece, and in particular Article 14 (4) (a) thereof, 1 . Every application for an import licence lodged in accordance with Regulation (EEC) No 1 1 36/79 for the Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 252/82 (2) quarter beginning 1 January 1982 shall be granted to fixed the quantity of frozen beef intended for proces the following extent expressed as bone-in beef : sing which may be imported under special terms in (a) 12- 150 % of the quantity requested for beef the first quarter of 1982 ; imports intended for the manufacture of 'preserves' Whereas Article 15 (6) (a) of Commission Regulation as defined by Article 2 (5) of Regulation (EEC) No (EEC) No 2377/80 (3), as last amended by Regulation 1136/ 79 ; (EEC) No 3676/81 (4), lays down that the quantities (b) 49-355 % of the quantity requested for beef applied for may be reduced ; whereas the applications imports intended for the manufacture of 'preserves' lodged, in conformity with the conditions of Commis as defined by Article 2 (6) of Regulation (EEC) No sion Regulation (EEC) No 1 136/79 Q, as amended by 1136/ 79 .
