COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 3358 /83 of 28 November 1983 amending Regulation (EEC) No 3277/83 on the sale at prices fixed at a standard rate in advance of certain beef from intervention stocks for processing in the Community

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN 1 . In the first indent of Article 1 ( 1 ), '1 800 tonnes' COMMUNITIES, and '1 June 1983 ' are replaced by '3 000 tonnes' and '1 July 1983 ' respectively. Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, 2. In the fourth indent of Article 1 ( 1 ), '1 June 1983' Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 805/68 is replaced by '1 July 1983 '. of 27 June 1968 on the common organization of the market in beef and veal ('), as last amended by the Act 3 . The following indents shall be added to Article 1 of Accession of Greece, and in particular Article 7 (3) thereof, ( 1 ):

Whereas, pursuant to Regulation (EEC) No 3277/83 of '— 700 tonnes of bone-in beef held by the Belgian 17 November 1983 (2), certain quantities of beef were intervention agency and bought in before 1 released from intervention and were put up for sale for July 1983, processing ; whereas further possible outlets for meat — 55 tonnes of bone-in beef held by the Greek held by the Greek and German intervention agencies intervention agency and bought in before 1 should be taken into account ; July 1983 .' Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of the Management 4. Annexes I and II are replaced by the Annexes to Committee for Beef and Veal , this Regulation .

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Article 2 Article 1

Regulation (EEC) No 3277/83 is hereby amended as This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 December follows : 1983 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
