THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN whereas this should be taken into account in fixing COMMUNITIES, the monetary compensatory amounts ;

Whereas from 16 December 1983 the new activating prices and the new representative rates fixed by Regu Article 2 lation (EEC) No 1223 / 83 (*), as last amended by Regu lation (EEC) No 1877/83 (6), and referred to in This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 6 December Annexes I to IX are applicable in the wine sector ; 1983 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
