COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 1574/84 of 6 June 1984 fixing the premiums to be added to the import levies on rice and broken rice

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN — for other currencies, an exchange rate based on the COMMUNITIES, arithmetic mean of the spot market rates of each of these currencies in relation to the Community Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European currencies referred to in the previous indent ; Economic Community, Whereas, on the basis of today's cif prices and cif Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No forward delivery prices, the premiums at present in 1418/76 of 21 June 1976 on the common organization force, which are to be added to the levies, should be of the market in rice ('), as last amended by Regulation altered to the amounts shown in the Annex hereto, (EEC) No 174/84 (2), and in particular Article 13 (6) thereof, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Whereas the premiums to be added to the levies on rice and broken rice were fixed by Regulation (EEC) No 2455/83 (3), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) Article 1 No 1 503/84 0 ; The premiums to be added to the import levies fixed Whereas, if the levy system is to operate normally, in advance in respect of rice and broken rice shall be levies should be calculated on the following basis : as set out in the Annex hereto . — in the case of currencies which are maintained in relation to each other at any given moment within Article 2 a band of 2,25 % , a rate of exchange based on their central rate, This Regulation shall enter into force on 7 June 1984.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
