COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 83/85 of 11 January 1985 temporarily suspending intervention buying in of beef in Northern Ireland

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : COMMUNITIES, Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, Article 1 Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 805/68 of 27 June 1968 on the common organization of the market in beef and veal ('), as last amended by the Act In application of Article 3 (2) of Regulation (EEC) No of Accession of Greece , and in particular Article 6 ( 5) 868/84, intervention buying in shall be suspended (b) thereof, from 14 January 1985 in the following region of the United Kingdom for the following classes : Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 868 / 84 of 31 March 1984 fixing the guide price and the inter­ Northern Ireland : Category C, classes R3, R4, 03 vention price of adult bovine animals for the 1984/ 85, marketing year (2), and in particular Article 3 (2) and (4) (b) thereof,

Whereas the situation of the market in Northern Article 2 Ireland is such that the application of the abovemen­ tioned rules is required ; Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its are in accordance with the opinion of the Management publication in the Official Journal of the European Committee for Beef and Veal , Communities.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
