COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 344/85 of 8 February 1985 re-establishing intervention buying in of beef in Ireland and Northern Ireland

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : COMMUNITIES, Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Article 1 Economic Community, Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 805/68 In application of Article 3 ( 1 ) of Regulation (EEC) No of 27 June 1968 on the common organization of the 868/84, intervention buying in shall be re-established market in beef and veal ('), as last amended by the Act from 11 February 1985 for the following classes : of Accession of Greece, and in particular Article 6 (5) (b) thereof, — in Ireland : Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 868/84 category C, classes U 3, U 4, R 3, R 4, O 3, of 31 March 1984 fixing the guide price and the inter­ vention price for adult bovine animals for the 1984/85 — in Northern Ireland : marketing year (2), and in particular Article 3 (1 ) and category C, classes R 3, R 4, O 3. (4) (b) thereof, Whereas the situation of the market in Ireland and Northern Ireland is such that the application of the Article 2 abovementioned rules is required ; Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its are in accordance with the opinion of the Management publication in the Official Journal of the Committee for Beef and Veal, European Communities.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
