COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 3212/85 of 15 November 1985 amending Regulation (EEC) No 2906/85 on the sale at prices fixed at a standard rate in advance of certain beef from intervention stocks for processing in the Community

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION :

Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Article 1 Economic Community, Regulation (EEC) No 2906/85 is amended as follows : Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 805/68 of 27 June 1968 on the common organization of the market 1 . Article 2(l)(b) the first indent is amended to read : in beef and veal ('), as last amended by the Act of Acces '— a written undertaking by the applicant to process sion of Greece, and in particular Article 7 (3) thereof, the purchased meat into products specified in Whereas intervention beef sold under Articles 1 to 4 of Article 1 ( 1 ) of Regulation (EEC) No 2182/77 Regulation (EEC) No 2906/85 of 18 October 1985 (2) has within the period referred to in Article 5 ( 1 ) of to be transformed into products specified in Article Regulation (EEC) No 2182/77,'. 1(1 ) (a) of Regulation (EEC) No 2182/77 (3), as last 2. In Article 3, first and second indent, the words 'Article amended by Regulation (EEC) No 3210/85 (4) ; whereas in 1 (1) (a)' are replaced by the words 'Article 1 ( 1 )'. order to increase the sale possibilities it is appropriate to allow other processed products to be produced ; Article 2 Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of the Management This Regulation shall enter into force on 18 November Committee for Beef and Veal, 1985 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety arid directly applicable in all Member States .
