amending, on account of the accession of Spain and Portugal, Regulation (EEC ) No 3587 / 82 on common rules for imports of certain textile products originating in Taiwan

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES , ( b ) The following paragraphs are inserted : '2a . For the purposes of applying paragraphs 1 and 2 in 1986 , the preceding calendar year's total Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European imports into the Community shall be calculated on Economic Community , the basis of imports into the Community as constituted on 31 December 1985 , and also Having regard to the Act of Accession of Spain and imports into Spain and Portugal . Trade between Portugal and in particular Articles 27 and 396 thereof, the Community and Spain and Portugal , and also trade between Spain and Portugal themselves , shall Having regard to the proposal from the Commission , not be included in these quantities . Whereas pursuant to Article 27 of the Act of Accession 2b . Article 1 2 . The quantitative limits established in Annex II are hereby amended for 1986 as set out in the Annex to this Regulation . Regulation (EEC ) No 3587 / 82 is hereby amended as follows :

1 . in Article 3 : Article 2

( a ) the following are added in paragraph 2 ( a ) ( 2 ): This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 1986 , 'Spain 7,5 % subject to the entry into force of the Treaty of Accession of Portugal 1,5 % '; Spain and Portugal .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
