COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 2216/86 of 15 July 1986 re-establishing the levying of customs duties on other regenerated cellulose, falling within subheading 39.03 B I b), originating in Brazil , to which the prefer­ ential tariff arrangements set out in Council Regulation (EEC) No 3599/85 apply

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, question after being charged thereagainst ; whereas it is appropriate to re-establish the levying of customs duties Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European in respect of the products in question against Brazil, Economic Community, Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 3599/85 HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : of 17 December 1985 applying generalized tariff pref­ erences for 1986 in respect of certain industrial products originating in developing countries ('), and in particular Article 1 Article 13 thereof, As from 19 July 1986, the levying of customs duties, Whereas, pursuant to Articles 1 and 10 of that Regulation suspended pursuant to Regulation (EEC) No 3599/85, suspension of customs duties shall be accorded to each of the countries of territories listed in Annex III other than shall be re-established on imports into the Community of the following products originating in Brazil : those listed in column 4 of Annex I, within the frame­ work of the preferential tariff ceiling fixed in column 9 of CCT Annex I ; heading Description No Whereas, as provided for in Article 11 of that Regultion, as soon as the individual ceilings in question are reached 39.03 B I b) Other regenerated cellulose at Community level, the levying of customs duties on ( NIMEXE code imports of the products in question originating in each of 39.03-08,12,14,15) the countries and territories concerned may at any time be re-established ; Whereas, in the case of other regenerated cellulose, falling Article 2 within subheading 39.03 B I b), originating in Brazil, the individual ceiling was fixed at 1 095 000 ECU ; whereas This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day on 15 July 1986, imports of these products into the following its publication in the Official Journal of the Community originating in Brazil reached the ceiling in European Communities.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
