COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 64/87 of 9 January 1987 amending Regulation (EEC) No 7/87 introducing a countervailing charge on artichokes originating in Spain (except the Canary Islands)

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, Whereas, pursuant to Article 136 (2) of the Act of Acces­ sion of Spain and Portugal (4), the arrangements applicable Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European to trade between, on the one hand, a new Member State Economic Community, and, on the other, the Community as constitued at 31 Having regard to hte Act of Accession of Spain and December 1985 must be those which were applicable before accession ; Portugal, Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 1035/72 Whereas Article 140 ( 1 ) provides for a 4 % reduction in of 18 May 1972 on the common organization of the the countervailing charges applicable under Regulation market in fruit and vegetables ('), as last amended by (EEC) No 1035/72 during the second year after accession, Regulation (EEC) No 1351 /86 (2), and in particular the second subparagraph of Article 27 (2) thereof, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 7/87 of 2 January 1987 (3), introduced a contervailing charge on artichokes originating in Spain (except the Canary Article 1 Islands) ; In Article 1 of Regulation (EEC) No 7/87, *2,45 ECU' is Whereas Article 26 ( 1 ) of Regulation (EEC) No 1035/72 hereby replaced by '4,07 ECU'. laid down the conditions under which a charge intro­ duced in application of Article 25 of that Regulation is amended ; whereas if those conditions are taken into Article 2 consideration the countervailing charge on the import of artichokes originating in Spain (except the Canary This Regulation shall enter into force on 10 January 1987 . This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
