COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 1527/87 of 1 June 1987 introducing a countervailing charge on apples originating in Chile
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, Whereas, in accordance with Article 3 (1 ) of Regulation (EEC) No 211 8/74 (4), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 3811 /85 (5), the prices to be taken into conside ration must be recorded on the representative markets or, Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European in certain circumstances, on other markets ; Economic Community, Whereas for apples originating in Chile the entry prices calculated in this way have for five consecutive market days been alternatively above and below the reference Having regard to the Act of Accession of Spain and price ; whereas two of these entry prices are at least 0,6 Portugal, ECU below the reference prices ; whereas a countervailing charge should therefore be introduced for these apples ;

Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 2034/86 of Article 1 30 June 1986 fixing for the 1986/87 marketing year the reference prices for apples (3) fixed the reference price for products of class I at 56,05 ECU per 100 kilograms net A countervailing charge of 0,66 ECU per 100 kilograms for the month of May 1987 ; net is applied to apples (subheading 08.06 A II of the Common Customs Tariff) originating in Chile.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
