COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 2394/87 of 6 August 1987 introducing a countervailing charge on aubergines originating in Spain except in the Canary Islands
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, fore fulfilled and the countervailing charge on imports of aubergines originating in Spain (except in the Canary Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Islands) can be abolished ; Economic Community, Whereas, pursuant to Article 136 (2) of the Act of Acces Having regard to the Act of Accession of Spain and sion of Spain and Portugal (*), the arrangements applicable Portugal, to trade between, on the one hand, a new Member State Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 1035/72 and, on the other, the Community as constituted at 31 of 18 May 1972 on the common organization of the December 1985, must be those which were applicable market in fruit and vegetables ('), as last amended by before accession, Regulation (EEC) No 2275/87 (2), and in particular the second subparagraph of Article 27 (2) thereof, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 2085/87 as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 2250/87 (4), intro Article 1 duced a countervailing charge on aubergines originating in Spain (except in the Canary Islands) ; Regulation (EEC) No 2085/87 is hereby repealed. Whereas for aubergines originating in Spain (except in the Canary Islands) there were no prices for six consecu Article 2 tive working days ; whereas the conditions specified in Article 26 ( 1 ) of Regulation (EEC) No 1035/72 are there This Regulation shall enter into force oh 7 August 1987.
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
