COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 453/88 of 18 February 1988 on the supply of refined sunflower oil to the Republic of Sao Tome and Principe as food aid
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, Commission Regulation (EEC) No 2200/87 of 8 July 1987 laying down general rules for the mobilization in Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European the Community of products to be supplied as Community Economic Community, food aid (4) ; whereas it is necessary to specify the time Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 3972/86 limits and conditions of supply and the procedure to be of 22 December 1986 on food-aid policy and food-aid followed to determine the resultant costs, management ('), as amended by Council Regulation (EEC) No 3785/87 (2), and in particular Article 6 (1 ) (c) thereof, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Whereas Council Regulation (EEC) No 1420/87 of 21 May 1987 laying down implementing rules for Regulation Article 1 (EEC) No 3972/86 on food-aid policy and food-aid management (3) lays down the list of countries and A tendering procedure is hereby initiated for the award of organizations eligible for food-aid operations and specifies a contract for the supply of refined sunflower oil to the the general criteria on the transport of food aid beyond Republic of Sao Tome and Principe in accordance with the fob stage ; the provisions of Regulation (EEC) No 2200/87 and with the conditions laid down in the Annex hereto . Whereas, by its Decision of 15 October 1987 on the supply of food aid to Sao Tome and Principe, the Commission allocated to the latter country 100 tonnes of Article 2 refined sunflower oil ; This Regulation shall enter into force on the day Whereas it is necessary to provide for the carrying-out of following its publication in the Official Journal of the this measure in accordance with the rules laid down by European Communities.
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
