COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 682/88 of 16 March 1988 fixing the maximum export refund for white sugar for the 44th partial invitation to tender issued within the framework of the standing invitation to tender provided for in Regulation (EEC) No 1092/87
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, Whereas, following an examination of the tenders submitted in response to the 44th partial invitation to tender, the provisions set out in Article 1 should be Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, adopted and in particular a maximum quantity should be fixed ; Having regard to the Act of Accession of Spain and Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation are Portugal, in accordance with the opinion of the Management Committee for Sugar, Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 1785/81 of 30 June 1981 on the common organization of the HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : markets in the sugar sector ('), as last amended by Regu lation (EEC) No 3993/87 (2), and in particular the first Article 1 subparagraph of Article 19 (4) (b) thereof,
1 . For the 44th partial invitation to tender for white Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 1092/87 of sugar issued pursuant to Regulation (EEC) No 1092/87 : 15 April 1987 on a standing invitation to tender in order to determine levies and/or refunds on exports of white — a maximum quantity of 43 300 tonnes, and sugar (3), requires partial invitations to tender to be issued — a maximum amount of the export refund of 44,039 for the export of this sugar ; ECU/ 100 kilograms are hereby fixed. 2. For tenders relating to the maximum amount given Whereas, pursuant to Article 9 ( 1 ) of Regulation (EEC) No in paragraph 1 , account shall be taken of half of the rele 1092/87, a maximum export refund shall be fixed, as the vant quantity offered. case may be, account being taken in particular of the state and foreseeable development of the , Community and Article 2 world markets in sugar, for the partial invitation to tender in question ; This Regulation shall enter into force on 17 March 1988.
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
