COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 747/88 of 15 March 1988 on the supply of refined sunflower oil to Angola as food aid

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, 1987 laying down general rules for the mobilization in the Community of products to be supplied as Community Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European food aid (4) ; whereas it is necessary to specify the time Economic Community, limits and conditions of supply and the procedure to be followed to determine the resultant costs, Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 3972/86 of 22 December 1986 on food-aid policy and food-aid management ('), as amended by Regulation (EEC) No 3785/87 (2), and in particular Article 6 (1 ) (c) thereof, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Whereas Council Regulation (EEC) No 1420/87 of 21 May 1987 laying down implementing rules for Regulation Article 1 (EEC) No 3972/86 on food-aid policy and food-aid man­ agement (3) lays down the list of countries and organ­ A tendering procedure is hereby initiated for the award of izations eligible for food-aid operations and specifies the a contract for the supply of refined sunflower oil to general criteria on the transport of food aid beyond the Angola in accordance with the provisions of Regulation fob stage ; (EEC) No 2200/87 and with the conditions laid down in the Annex hereto. Whereas, by its Decision of 30 November 1987 on the supply of food aid to Angola, the Commission allocated Article 2 to the latter country 500 tonnes of refined sunflower oil ; Whereas it is necessary to provide for the carrying-out of This Regulation shall enter into force on the day this measure in accordance with the rules laid down by following its publication in the Official Journal of the Commission Regulation (EEC) No 2200/87 of 8 July European Communities.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
