amending Regulation (EEC) No 569/88 laying down common detailed rules for verifying the use and/or destination of products from intervention
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES,
Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community,
Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 136/66/EEC of 22 September 1966 on the establishment of a common organization of the market in oils and fats (1), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 3994/87 (2), and in particular Articles 12 (4) and 26 (3) thereof, and the corresponding provisions of the other Regulations establishing a common organization of the market in respect of agricultural products,
Whereas the entry into force of Commission Regulation (EEC) No 569/88 (3) is laid down as 1 April 1988; whereas that Regulation was published on 1 March 1988 only; whereas it involves many amendments as regards the procedures for verifying the use and/or destination of products from interventions; whereas, for the sake of the satisfactory application at Community level of those rules and of all the sectoral Regulations relating thereto, its entry into force should be postponed until 1 June 1988;
Whereas the measures provided for in the Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of all the relevant management committees,
HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:
Article1¶
Regulation (EEC) No 569/88 is hereby amended as follows:
1. In Article 29 and in Article 30, second indent, '1 April 1988' is replaced by '1 June 1988'.
2. In Part II 25 (B) of the Annex, points (b), (c) and (d) are replaced by points (b), (c) and (d) in the Annex hereto.
Article2¶
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Communities.
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
