COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 1453/88 of 27 May 1988 amending Regulation (EEC). No 3549/87 on the sale at prices fixed at a standard rate in advance of certain bone-in beef and veal held by certain intervention agencies and intended for export

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, — 4 000 tonnes of bone-in. beef held by the Italian intervention agency and bought in before 1 Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European " January 1986, Economic Community, — 65 tonnes of bone-in beef held by United Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 805/68 of Kingdom intervention agency and bought in 27 June 1968 on the common organization of the market before 1 January 1985, in beef and veal ('), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 3905/87 0, — 1 000 tonnes of bone-in beef held by the Spanish intervention agency " and bought in before 1 Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 3549/87 (3), January 1985, provides for a sale of forequarters for export without further processing or after boning ; given the sales —- 650 tonnes of bone-in ' beef held by the Irish possibilities it is opportune to increase the quantities put intervention agency and bought in before 1 up for sale under the above Regulation ; January 1987. Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation are ' The quality and prices are set out in Annex I hereto.' in accordance with the opinion of the Management Committee for Beef and Veal, 2. Annex I is replaced by Annex I hereto. HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : 3. Annex II- is replaced by Annex II hereto. Article 1

Regulation (EEC) No 3549/87 is hereby amended as follows : Article 2 . 1 . Article 1 ( 1 ) is replaced by the following : ' 1 . The following approximate quantities of beef shall be put up for sale : This Regulation shall enter into force on 30 May 1988 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
