COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 1662/88 of 14 June 1988 suspending advance fixing of the import levy for cereals

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, present system could give rise to speculative operations ; whereas the advance fixing of the import levy for cereals Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European should therefore be suspended, Economic Community, Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 2727/75 HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : of 29 October 1975 on the common organization of the market in cereals ('), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1097/88 (2), and in particular the second subparagraph Article 1 of Article 15 (7) thereof, Advance fixing of the import levy on the products Whereas Article 15 (7) of Regulation (EEC) No 2727/75 referred to in Article 1 (a), (b), and (c) of Regulation (EEC) provides that the provisions concerning advance fixing of No 2727/75 is hereby suspended from 15 until 17 June the levy may be suspended if the market situation shows 1988 . that the application of these provisions is causing or is likely to cause difficulties ; Article 2 Whereas, in view of the uncertainty reigning on the markets, there is a danger that the continuation of the This Regulation shall enter into force on 15 June 1988 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
